Day 1: Exploring Borana Village Morning Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the Borana Eco Campsite. 9:00 AM Begin your hiking adventure from the campsite, immersing yourself in the picturesque landscapes of Borana. During the Hike Experience the rural village life of Borana as you pass through various villages, observing the daily activities of the locals. Lunch Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch under the shade of an African acacia tree, surrounded by nature. Afternoon Continue your hike, where you’ll see Borana children tending to their camels, goats, sheep, horses, and donkeys, providing a glimpse into their traditional lifestyle. Day 2: Day Trip to Salt Creator Lake Early Morning Depart for a day trip to the Salt Creator Lake, located approximately 100 km away, after breakfast. Mid-Morning Learn about how the Borana people harvest salt and their traditional methods of working with this valuable resource. Afternoon Visit Borana National Park, where you can explore the stunning natural beauty and possibly see some wildlife. Evening Return to the Borana Eco Campsite for your overnight stay, enjoying the peaceful surroundings one last time.
